What has Happened: Last month, Academy’s GIG predicted that the U.S. Navy would conduct a Strait of Hormuz transit in the next few weeks (see link to CalPERS meeting with General Bellon and SITREP). Earlier today, two U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers passed through the Strait of Hormuz marking the first transit of American warships through the waterway since the conflict began.
